The Rachel Custom Wedding Dress

The Rachel Dress is a romantic Couture Wedding Dresses created for the bride who wants effortless movement without sacrificing structure. Layers of silk organza, beaded embroidered lace, and silk duchesse satin bring softness, dimension, and refined couture construction to its graceful A-line silhouette.

The built-in corset supports and defines the bodice, while a subtly raised empire waistline creates an elegant, elongated effect. Delicately beaded embroidered lace introduces texture and light across the bodice and skirt without overwhelming the gown’s ethereal character.

Asymmetrical layers of silk organza form the flowing A-line skirt. Lace appliqués are thoughtfully placed across the layers, creating visual depth and movement with every step. A sweeping cathedral-length train completes the silhouette with a timeless bridal finish.

Although dramatic in appearance, Rachel is designed to feel light, airy, and comfortable throughout the wedding day. Its balance of couture corsetry and fluid organza makes it especially suited to brides who want romance, movement, and confident support in one gown.

Every Rachel Dress is made to measure through the Priscilla Couture bespoke experience. Color, train length, neckline, sleeves, and lace placement may be personalized to create a gown that reflects the bride’s individual vision.

Wedding Themes & Settings

The Rachel Dress lends itself beautifully to romantic garden, enchanted garden, fairytale, historic estate, and elegant ballroom weddings. Its beaded embroidered lace and asymmetrical silk organza layers create an ethereal effect, while the built-in corset, refined A-line silhouette, and cathedral-length train preserve a formal couture presence.

Rachel is especially well suited to botanical gardens, historic mansions, château-inspired estates, grand hotels, and candlelit ballrooms. Its lightweight silk organza offers graceful movement for spring, summer, and early autumn celebrations, while its structured foundation makes it equally appropriate for formal indoor weddings throughout the year.

The Rachel Dress Bespoke Process

Rachel is created according to each bride’s measurements rather than produced in a standard bridal size. The journey begins with a complimentary 45-minute consultation to discuss the gown, customization possibilities, wedding date, location, and recommended direction.

Production requires a minimum of 90 days after the final design and personalized digital Dress Avatar have been approved. Consultation, design development, material sourcing, and shipping require additional time, so brides should begin the process well before their wedding date.

In-person brides generally require one to four fittings, depending on the gown’s construction and selected customizations. Remote brides receive instructions for taking their measurements and review a personalized digital Dress Avatar before production. Remote commissions do not include in-person fitting sessions.

Rachel Dress FAQ

Can the Rachel Dress be customized?

Yes. Rachel can be created in any color, and its neckline, sleeves, train length, measurements, and lace placement may be personalized. Each request is reviewed to ensure it complements the gown’s construction and remains faithful to the overall design.

Customization should be finalized before design approval. If you request a change afterward, contact the atelier promptly. Changes may be possible depending on the production stage and may affect materials, pricing, or completion time.

Is the Rachel Dress made to measure?

Yes. Every Rachel Dress is made according to the bride’s individual measurements. It is not selected from standard sizing and altered afterward.

In-person brides generally attend one to four fittings, depending on the style and construction. Remote brides are guided through the measurement process and receive a personalized digital Dress Avatar for review before production begins.

How long does the Rachel Dress take to create?

Production requires a minimum of 90 days after the final design and digital Dress Avatar have been approved. This minimum does not include the consultation, design-development period, material sourcing, or shipping.

Rush commissions are considered individually. Availability and additional rush fees are discussed during the complimentary consultation.

Can sleeves be added to the Rachel Dress?

Yes. Sleeves may be designed for Rachel when they are compatible with the bodice, neckline, lace, and corset construction. The sleeve shape, fabric, coverage, and lace placement are developed as part of the overall composition rather than treated as a separate addition.

Can the cathedral train be shortened?

Yes. The cathedral-length train may be modified to suit the bride’s venue, ceremony, movement preferences, and wedding plans. A shorter train can preserve Rachel’s romantic silhouette while making the gown more practical for a particular celebration.

Is the Rachel Dress heavy?

Rachel is designed to feel lightweight and airy despite its dramatic layered skirt and cathedral train. Silk organza creates volume and movement without the density of many heavier skirt materials.

The final weight may vary if sleeves, additional embellishment, a longer train, or other structural details are added.

Can I order the Rachel Dress if I live outside Philadelphia?

Yes. Priscilla Couture works with brides throughout the United States and internationally. Remote brides receive measurement guidance and review a personalized digital Dress Avatar before the gown enters production.

The bride is responsible for shipping, insurance, duties, taxes, customs charges, brokerage fees, and other destination expenses.

How should the Rachel Dress be cleaned and stored?

Care depends on the final materials, embellishments, and construction of the completed gown. Some garments require professional dry cleaning, while others need more specialized or natural cleaning methods.

Priscilla Couture provides garment-specific cleaning, storage, and maintenance instructions when the gown is delivered. Those instructions should take precedence over general bridal-care recommendations.
