The Unspoken Convertible Silk Chiffon Skirt
Unspoken is a convertible couture skirt designed to move, transform, and be worn on your own terms.
Crafted from 100% silk chiffon, its original asymmetric pattern creates cascading layers of sheer, weightless fabric that respond beautifully to every step and gesture. Irregular panel lengths introduce dimension and fluidity, allowing the silhouette to continuously change around the body.
Designed as more than a skirt, Unspoken converts into a dress and offers multiple possibilities for draping and styling. Wear it low at the waist as a flowing skirt, transform it into a sensual draped dress, or experiment with its cascading panels to create an expression entirely your own.
The transparency and natural movement of silk chiffon are essential to the design. Light passes through the layers while the asymmetric panels create softness, volume, and an effortless sense of movement without weight.
Wear Unspoken for the wedding, then wear it again. Pair it with a couture bodice for a bridal look, style it as a dress for an evening away, or contrast its dramatic silk chiffon with a simple T-shirt, bodysuit, knit, or tailored piece.
Every Unspoken Skirt is made to order and made to measure through the Priscilla Couture bespoke experience. Its color and proportions can be personalized to create an individually handcrafted couture piece.
A skirt. A dress. What it becomes is left Unspoken.

Materials
The Unspoken Skirt is crafted from a single principal wedding dress fabric selected for its transparency, lightness, and expressive movement:
- 100% silk chiffon
Silk chiffon gives Unspoken its weightless character. Each asymmetric panel can move independently, allowing the layered silhouette to shift around the body while retaining its softness and dimension.
Transparency is an intentional part of the design. Styling options, coordinating pieces, and the desired degree of coverage can be discussed during the complimentary consultation.
Customization Options
Unspoken is individually created through the custom wedding dress design process. Available options include:
- Personalized measurements
- Custom color
- Personalized proportions
- Panel-length adjustments
- Styling as part of a complete couture ensemble
Customization requests are reviewed during the consultation and developed in harmony with the garment’s convertible construction, asymmetric pattern, and fluid movement. Requested changes may affect the final investment, material requirements, and production timeline.
How to Style the Unspoken Skirt
Unspoken can be worn as a flowing skirt, transformed into a draped dress, or styled as part of a layered couture composition. Its changing silhouette makes it suitable for bridal ceremonies, receptions, elopements, evening celebrations, travel, editorial styling, and expressive everyday dressing.
For a bridal or formal look, pair Unspoken with a couture corset, custom bodice, bralette, or fitted top. The Sensous Bodysuit provides a close-fitting contemporary foundation, while the Queen Lace Bralette creates a more delicate, lingerie-inspired composition.
Beyond the celebration, contrast the silk chiffon with a simple T-shirt, fine knit, tailored jacket, or minimalist bodysuit. Each pairing changes the character of the garment while preserving its fluidity and dramatic movement.

Designed for the Wedding and Beyond
Unspoken is intended to remain part of the wearer’s wardrobe after the wedding. Its convertible construction allows it to return as a dress for an evening away, a flowing skirt for a formal celebration, or an expressive separate paired with more familiar wardrobe pieces.
By changing how it is draped and what it is worn with, Unspoken can evolve for anniversaries, galas, destination celebrations, fashion events, editorial photography, and personal occasions yet to be imagined.
The Unspoken Bespoke Process
Every Unspoken piece is made to order according to the wearer’s measurements rather than produced in a standard size. The process begins with a complimentary 45-minute consultation to discuss its convertible styling, preferred color, proportions, measurements, celebration date, location, and recommended direction.
Production requires a minimum of 90 days after the final design and personalized digital Dress Avatar have been approved. Consultation, design development, material sourcing, and shipping require additional time, so commissions should begin well before the garment is needed.
In-person clients generally require one to four fittings depending on the selected proportions and customizations. Remote clients receive instructions for taking their measurements and review a personalized digital Dress Avatar before production. Remote commissions do not include in-person fitting sessions.
