The Dash Custom Wedding Dress

The Dash Wedding Dress is a sculptural custom couture wedding dress created for the bride who wants romance, architecture, and uninhibited movement within one unforgettable silhouette.

A corseted embroidered lace bodice creates the illusion of delicate artwork traced across the skin. The illusion neckline and back provide an ethereal foundation for the lace while preserving the definition and support of couture corsetry.

Below the bodice, layers of silk organza and silk taffeta are pleated with architectural precision. The skirt curves into a dramatic high-low hem that reveals the legs while creating volume, movement, and visual dimension from every angle.

The interplay between translucent organza, structured taffeta, and embroidered lace gives Dash its distinctive character. Learn how these materials influence structure and movement in the Wedding Dress Fabrics Guide.

Whether making an entrance, walking through a city celebration, or dancing beneath the evening sky, the Dash Wedding Dress is designed to move with the bride rather than hold her in place. Its unconventional hem and sculptural construction offer a distinctive alternative to a traditional floor-length bridal gown.

Every Dash Wedding Dress is made to measure in the Priscilla Couture Philadelphia atelier and personalized around the bride’s measurements, proportions, and vision. Explore how an original gown develops in the Custom Wedding Dress Design Guide.

The Dash Wedding Dress is also available for rental, subject to size and date availability. Review the Wedding Dress Rental Guide or contact the atelier to discuss your celebration.

Wedding Themes & Settings

The Dash Wedding Dress lends itself beautifully to modern romantic weddings, architectural celebrations, fashion-forward city ceremonies, and artistic garden themes. Its corseted embroidered-lace bodice creates the illusion of lace drawn across the skin, while the pleated high-low skirt introduces structure, movement, and an expressive view of the bride’s shoes.

Dash is particularly suited to brides who want a dramatic entrance without sacrificing freedom on the dance floor. Its silk organza and silk taffeta respond beautifully to movement, making the gown equally compelling during the ceremony, portraits, and reception.

  • Wedding themes: modern romantic, architectural, artistic garden, city-chic, fashion-forward, contemporary couture, and dance-inspired

The Dash Bespoke Production Process

Every Dash Wedding Dress begins with the Priscilla Couture five-step bespoke process. The first step is a complimentary 45-minute consultation where the atelier answers your initial questions, learns about your wedding, and provides guidance on the direction your commission should take.

Production requires a minimum of 90 days after the final design and personalized digital Dress Avatar have been approved. The consultation, design development, approval process, fittings when applicable, and shipping require additional time.

In-person brides generally require one to four fittings depending on the design and complexity of the gown. These fittings allow the corseted bodice, illusion foundation, waist placement, hem proportions, and overall balance to be refined for the bride.

Remote brides receive instructions for taking their measurements. A personalized digital Dress Avatar is then produced for review before production begins. Remote commissions do not include in-person fitting sessions. Additional information is available in the Remote Brides Guide.

Care

The Dash Wedding Dress is dry clean only. Because the gown combines embroidered lace, illusion material, silk organza, silk taffeta, pleating, and internal corsetry, it should be handled by a cleaner experienced with couture bridal garments.

Do not machine wash, iron, steam, or attempt spot treatments unless specifically instructed by the atelier. Garment-specific cleaning, preparation, transportation, and storage instructions are provided when the finished gown is delivered.
