The Patty Bridal Cocktail Dress

The Patty Dress is a modern bridal cocktail dress created for brides who want a chic alternative to the traditional wedding gown. Playful, sophisticated, and distinctly fashion-forward, Patty is designed for courthouse ceremonies, Las Vegas weddings, rehearsal dinners, bridal receptions, and memorable second looks.

Crafted from luxurious silk mikado, the dress features a built-in corset that provides structure, support, and a beautifully defined silhouette. Its strapless neckline highlights the shoulders and décolletage, while the architectural bell-shaped skirt creates sculptural volume with a refined couture presence.

Every Patty Dress is made to measure through the Priscilla Couture bespoke experience. The gown is developed according to the bride’s individual measurements and reviewed through a personalized digital Dress Avatar before production begins.

Patty may be worn independently for a clean, modern statement or styled with a coordinated couture lace bodysuit and custom veil for additional texture, coverage, and drama. These optional elements allow the bride to transform the appearance of the dress while preserving its architectural silhouette.

Designed for the wedding day and beyond, the Patty Dress transitions naturally from bridal fashion into cocktail attire. Its versatility makes it an enduring investment for women who value craftsmanship, individuality, and the opportunity to wear couture for more than one celebration.

Wedding Themes & Settings

The Patty Dress lends itself beautifully to modern minimalist, city-chic, Las Vegas, vintage-inspired mod, intimate micro-wedding, and courthouse wedding themes. Its short bridal silhouette, structured silk mikado, built-in corset, and architectural bell-shaped skirt create a playful couture statement without the length or volume of a traditional wedding gown.

Patty is especially well suited to city halls, courthouses, Las Vegas chapels, rooftop ceremonies, boutique hotels, art galleries, cocktail lounges, and private dining celebrations. Its compact silhouette also makes it an elegant choice for rehearsal dinners, bridal receptions, wedding after-parties, and memorable second looks.

The materials used for optional accessories and customized elements are selected according to the approved design. Garment-specific cleaning and care instructions are provided when the completed dress is delivered.

Customization Options

The Patty Dress may be personalized through the custom wedding dress design process. Confirmed and potential options include:

  • Custom measurements
  • Optional couture lace bodysuit
  • Optional custom veil
  • Coordinated styling elements
  • Additional design adjustments discussed during consultation

Every requested adjustment is evaluated in relation to Patty’s corset, strapless neckline, silk mikado, and architectural skirt. Customization feasibility is confirmed before design approval and may affect the materials, final investment, and production timeline.

The Patty Dress Bespoke Process

Patty is created according to the bride’s individual measurements rather than produced in a standard bridal size. The process begins with a complimentary 45-minute consultation to discuss the dress, optional styling elements, wedding plans, location, and recommended design direction.

Production requires a minimum of 90 days after the final design and personalized digital Dress Avatar have been approved. Consultation, design development, material sourcing, and shipping require additional time, so brides should begin the process well before the date on which the dress is needed.

In-person brides generally require one to four fittings, depending on the final design and selected customizations. Remote brides receive instructions for taking their measurements and review a personalized digital Dress Avatar before production. Remote commissions do not include in-person fitting sessions.

Patty Dress FAQ

Can the Patty Dress be customized?

Yes. Every Patty Dress is made to measure, and additional styling or design adjustments may be discussed during the consultation. Patty may also be commissioned with a coordinated couture lace bodysuit, custom veil, or other approved elements.

Each request is evaluated to ensure it works with the built-in corset, strapless neckline, silk mikado, and architectural skirt. Requested changes may affect the final investment, materials, or production timeline.

Is the Patty Dress made to measure?

Yes. Every Patty Dress is created according to the bride’s individual measurements. It is not selected from a standard bridal size and altered afterward.

In-person brides generally attend one to four fittings, depending on the final design. Remote brides are guided through the measurement process and review a personalized digital Dress Avatar before production begins.

How long does the Patty Dress take to create?

Production requires a minimum of 90 days after the final design and personalized digital Dress Avatar have been approved. This minimum does not include the consultation, design-development period, material sourcing, or shipping.

Rush commissions are considered individually. Availability and additional rush fees are discussed during the complimentary consultation.

Is the Patty Dress suitable for a courthouse wedding?

Yes. Patty’s short length, structured corset, and sophisticated silk mikado make it especially suited to courthouse ceremonies. Its architectural silhouette creates a memorable bridal statement without requiring the length or volume of a traditional wedding gown.

The dress is also suitable for Las Vegas weddings, intimate ceremonies, rehearsal dinners, bridal receptions, and other celebrations that call for modern bridal fashion.

Can I wear the Patty Dress as a reception or second-look dress?

Yes. Patty is designed to work beautifully as a bridal reception dress or second look. Its shorter silhouette allows greater freedom of movement while its built-in corset and bell-shaped skirt preserve a refined couture presence.

A bride may wear Patty independently or introduce a lace bodysuit, veil, or coordinated styling elements to create a distinct transition from the ceremony to the reception.

Is the lace bodysuit included with the Patty Dress?

The Patty Dress may be commissioned on its own or styled with a coordinated couture lace bodysuit and custom veil. Optional garments and accessories should be discussed during the consultation.

The final design proposal will identify which pieces are included in the commission, along with their materials, customization details, and applicable costs.

Can the Patty Dress be worn after the wedding?

Yes. Patty was designed to transition from a bridal cocktail dress into a couture garment for future celebrations. Its clean strapless bodice, silk mikado construction, and architectural mini silhouette allow it to be restyled for anniversaries, cocktail parties, formal dinners, and other meaningful occasions.

Additional styling inspiration can be found in the Couture for Celebrations guide.

Can I order the Patty Dress if I live outside Philadelphia?

Yes. Priscilla Couture works with brides throughout the United States and internationally. Remote brides receive measurement guidance and review a personalized digital Dress Avatar before the dress enters production.

The bride is responsible for shipping, insurance, duties, taxes, customs charges, brokerage fees, and other destination expenses.

How should the Patty Dress be cleaned and stored?

Care depends on the final materials, corsetry, optional lace elements, and overall construction of the completed dress. The silk mikado, bodice structure, and architectural skirt should be handled carefully to preserve their shape.

Priscilla Couture provides garment-specific cleaning, storage, and maintenance instructions when the dress is delivered. Those instructions should take precedence over general bridal or cocktail-dress care recommendations.
