A Story of Ripe Desire, Couture Rebellion, and the Modern Woman’s Liberation
Beyond Apple Capsule Collection at New York Fashion Week
At Priscilla Couture, we’ve always believed that couture fashion is not about rules—it’s about transformation. With our latest capsule collection, Beyond Apple, debuted at New York Fashion Week, we invited the modern woman to embrace her unapologetic truth. From temptation to liberation, this was not just a runway—it was a rite of passage.
Born in collaboration with the avant-garde brand TKINK, Beyond Apple became a living manifesto. Our muse is unafraid. She reveals what is usually hidden, celebrates contrast, and redefines femininity on her terms.
The Symbol of the Apple
We chose the apple for its symbolism. Historically, it represents temptation, origin, sin. But at Priscilla Couture, we see it as the beginning—not the end. To go beyond the apple is to move through desire, to emerge more powerful on the other side. This capsule was a love letter to that transformation.
Crafting the Vision
Our fashion design process started in rebellion. We hand-dyed natural white silk taffeta in our Philadelphia atelier to become rich candy apple red and ethereal pool blue. We juxtaposed raw materials—luxurious silks, garden fencing from Home Depot, safety pins, sheer mesh, and upcycled cotton tees—to create garments that lived between worlds: sacred and sensual, polished and punk.
This tension birthed a collection rooted in bridal couture techniques but stripped of pretense. These garments are couture made light, meant to walk not only down the aisle—but through alleyways, rooftops, and dreams.
The Day of the Show
The morning of the show, we left Philadelphia for New York with joy in our hearts and garments in tow. Hotel Hugo in Soho became our temple. The ninth floor transformed into a living studio—models rehearsing in hallways, dresses steamed and adjusted with care, and laughter echoing between lipstick and zippers.
By 7PM, our ten muses stood ready. On the rooftop, beneath the skyline, the Beyond Apple runway began.
The Runway Unfolds
Each look was a chapter in a story told through silhouette, texture, and defiance:
- The Seduced Dress: A sheer beaded column with draped sleeves and sensual clarity—temptation embodied.
- The Fabulous Black Look: TKINK’s designer bodysuit paired with our sculpted black tulle skirt and safety pin Connect Necklace armor—bold power play.
- The Red Robe: Sheer silk organza embroidered with the provocation: Bite Me.
- The Black Denim Blazer + Leather Shorts: With exaggerated shoulders, exposed embroidery, and an invisible crotch zipper, because not all rebellion must be seen to be felt.
- The Reversible Dress: White silk taffeta outside, up-cycled cotton with TKINK's designer Fuck Tee inside—reveal your truth.
- The Safety Chain Suit: Black leather jacket and shorts held together by removable chains—consciously constructed chaos.
- The Caged Corset Look: Boning meets bondage, a silhouette unbound.
- The Hooded Vest + Leather Trousers: Dominance meets elegance in high-waisted fluidity.
- The White Rebel: A dripping wet Fuck Tee, a dancing white skirt—freedom in motion.
- The Finale—Pool Blue: A backless couture gown, asymmetrically draped, closing the show in silence and awe.
Beyond Fashion: A Statement of Freedom
When the applause began, it didn’t feel like clapping—it felt like release. Beyond Apple was never just a fashion show. It was a reclamation of voice, body, and self.

And then the finale: freedom in pool blue. A draped, asymmetrical, backless gown. Simple yet dominant. Floating yet unforgettable.
As the last notes faded, I returned to the runway with our final muses. The applause was warm and unending, sealing Beyond Apple as more than fashion. It was liberation, ripe and undeniable.
Closing Reflections
After a few days of rest and reflection, our hearts remain full. Beyond Apple was not only a dream realized but also a spark cast into the universe. The goal was met, the message delivered, the resonance undeniable.
We are grateful to the Philadelphia Fashion Incubator and KW Productions for enabling another collaboration where fashion meets cause. When style and purpose walk together, the result is unforgettable.
Our deepest thanks to the ten extraordinary models who brought our vision to life, to the makeup and hair team who sculpted them into muses, to Kyle Woodland for producing and orchestrating this beautiful event, and to Elissa Bloom for her invaluable guidance.
To the Hotel Hugo for hosting our collection with care. To our team — Quiona Faust, Max, and Emil — your dedication was fundamental. To my husband, Vince Marie, Mama, Alia, Jerry and to my children and mother, whose presence I carried in spirit throughout this journey.
Beyond Apple was born of passion and crafted with love. We invite you to follow us for fresh updates, share your reflections with us, and discover the couture collection soon available to order on our website.
